former Hurricanes Sean Taylor dies

Former Washington Redskin and Miami Hurricane Sean Taylor died Nov. 27, a day after he was shot at his South Florida resident. He was 24.

"Taylor died early Tuesday of a gunshot wound from an apparent intruder, a tragic end for a 24-year-old whose life was transformed by the birth of a daughter 18 months ago" according to ESPN.com news services.

We are talking about a brother, a father, a teammate and a leader. Given the name "The Grim Reaper" by teammate Lavar Arrington, this guy was simple was of the hardest-hitting safeties...period. Taylor was the 5th overall pick by the Redskins in 2004. He didn't get off to the start he wanted, but then year-by-year his game got better, and he became one of the fierest player in the game.

Many former players for the University of Miami were devastated with the news. Some included: former Hurricanes Jeremy Shocker, Willis McGahee, Clinton Portis, and Jonathan Vilma.

The U or the Hurricanes and Redskins lost a great football player but more importantly they lost a changed man. People began to see the change in him when his daughter was born. But now his daughter will grow up with him.

It's hard as a football fan to understand this lost, to me it's simply doesn't make sense. I question myself I know he's from tough area of South Florida, but really why was he there. He was robbed before in his place a few months ago. I know, if I would've gotten robbed, i would've been out of my place...quickly.

There are no suspect yet, to who robbed his house. But one thing for sure, is that when that person gets caught, he should pay heavily for his crime.
